# Circonflex

> Circonflex is a freelance backend development practice based in Barcelona, Spain. It builds Python and Django backends (also FastAPI and Flask), Go services, and AI-native features with Pydantic AI and MCP servers, with a craft-first approach: SOLID, Clean Code, TDD, YAGNI and hexagonal architecture.

Circonflex works remotely for clients in France, Spain and the rest of Europe, in French, Spanish and English. Engagements are freelance missions: building a new backend, taking over or refactoring a legacy codebase, auditing architecture and code quality, or adding AI agents and MCP servers to an existing product.
